All, on Friday HRC will give a speech at the DNC’s Women’s Leadership Forum. Obama is appearing later that day and Biden goes on earlier. I’ve shared the attached draft with her and would appreciate your feedback as well. You’ll note a few places where we mention Republicans directly. I imagine some (CDM!) might find it too pointed. So please flag those concerns. But also note that she punched up the partisanship on Sunday on her own.ThanksDan

Have revised this speech to include some of what we heard this morning at CAP. Please take one more look.
Thanks

Here’s one more draft of the DNC speech to look over. Have worked some new ideas in here after talking to HRC — especially about family as a touchstone for Democrats and for America. She asked for a broader message about what it means to be a Democrat,
so have tried to infuse that flavor and to embed the women’s theme in a bigger frame. See if you think it works.
Thanks
Dan
