I've been trying to reach out to Mrs. Wansley at Pinney Woods for about a month. I'll try again next week after the Holidays.

If Pinney Woods don't respond, Can we try Vangaurd Boarding School in Lake Whales, FL? Vanguard is a Boarding School that specialize in ADHD & Special Education.

I believe thaw behavior issues may stem from a Leaming disability. After observing her behavior in School and helping her with homework every night I'm convinced that her behavior in school is due to academic issues.

Thank you for your interest in The Vanguard School! The Vanguard School is a private, not-for-profit, co-educational boarding and day school for students in grades 6-12 who experience a variety of learning differences. Some of the most common learning differences we serve include: ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and High Functioning Autism (Asperger's). We offer small class sizes that average 8 students per academic class, and we focus on each student's individual goals and needs. We recognize that each child is unique in their own way, and therefore teach them in the way in which they learn best. We serve students from all around the world and provide individualized attention in the form of an academic mentor and a residential mentor (for residential students). These mentors provide a consistent connection between you and your child's progress. We also offer dual-enrollment classes as well as a college and career advisor who will help guide your child toward life after high school.

We not only have a wonderful academic program, but also an engaging and active residential program. We offer competitive sports, such as girls' basketball, IV and Varsity boys' basketball, golf, tennis, soccer, cross country, track & field, archery, and girls' volleyball. Every weekend our residential schedule offers both on and off campus activities as well. Our fun, but structured, residential time gives students an opportunity to expand their social network and skills as well as learn independent living skills.
