In the Corral Log motel in Afton, Wyoming, we learn, "the Nabokovs had=20 their own unit with bath", and "the cabins were built in Br=adaxe Hewn Log style, with compound dovetail corners (each log end extending beyond the meeting of walls). The logs were debarked and varnished, the chinks filled with mortar and covered with battens."
