Maggie Haberman at POLITICO is working on a piece about what a potential campaign could look like in terms of staffing. The story is anchored in an anecdote about a meeting John Podesta allegedly attended at Jim Messina's office in July, and the possibility that he could be the campaign chair.
>From there the story will speculate about who might do what where, basically an org chart in paragraph form.
The news will be the pattern of Podesta involvement, which you'll remember was previously reported by the WSJ this spring in the context of a meeting he reportedly had with you several months prior.
We don't anticipate this being problematic, just something that will spin up the talking heads, but wanted to flag this for everyone.
I'll send around the story when it posts, which could be as early as this afternoon.
