FOR REVIEW: collaborative stewardship fact sheet
John,
Attaching the draft fact sheet from the team on the collaborative stewardship agenda. There is interest from Jake and from the state teams to roll this out as soon as tomorrow ahead of the contests in AZ, UT, ID, and WA. (And Stephanie in WA is interested in having HRC do an OTR at the REI flagship store!)
We’ll produce state-specific fact sheets and work to activate surrogates (like Sen Heinrich) to carry the message in the states. We’ll also hold a small call with national conservation orgs on the day we roll it out to get them to tweet and be supportive. The state teams are pretty excited to have this to use, which is great. I asked comms whether there would be interest in pitching Juliet on doing a short piece, but haven’t gotten a sign one way or the other. Defer to you on whether you want to mention that this is coming when you talk to her today about the other issues.
On the substance of the attached, I’ve been assured by Matt Lee-Ashley and Pete that we shouldn’t get blowback for the LWCF proposal, and Trevor says the idea for the WH transmission office would be to house it at CEQ.
Let me know if you have any thoughts. Will keep you posted on the final rollout plans. Also working today on her brief for Sierra Friday.
Thanks,
Kristina

I didn't have chance to sweat this but rather than helping ranchers et al I'd partner with them
