Great. Thanks Terry. On point 1, we agree and will try to push more. On point 2, I hope I didn't sound defeatist. I believe we will win in NH, just trying not to seem like I am oblivious to current polls. I remember that President Bradley and President Dean were ahead at this time in their cycles as well.

John, following up on the conf. call, I was in the queue and going to say two things to the group, but time ran out:

 

1.       I have known this for some time (as I have tried to learn everything about the email issue as part of my role with the press here), but the MTP interview was the first time I heard her say it and I think it should be stressed a lot more.  The server in her house was NOT set for or by her; she did NOT set it up because she became SecState; it was already there as it was set up for her husband who is a former president – when I tell people this, it really calms them down and makes it look far more normal and less secretive.  (I mean if you were trying to be devious would you use “Clintonemail” as the address?

 

2.       This is my 4^th NH Clinton primary campaign.  All but ’96 have been rollercoasters.  Despite today’s polls, I believe we will win here just like we survived in ’92 (coming from 5^th place) and won in ’08 after being 11pts down the night before. NH voters often decide very late – 38% of Dems in last 3 days in ’08.  We have an amazing staff and staff/core volunteer melding is better than any campaign I have ever seen except maybe Clinton ’92 when we volunteers had to do a lot of staff work out of necessity. I do not believe Bernie will wear well over time and his bandwidth and range are far narrower than hers.  The current and former electeds in Vt. who know him are supporting her.  We will work harder and more effecitively.  NH is and will remain Clinton Country.  As I mentioned at the meeting at my office, I still think we should wait until after New Years for WJC to come here, but when the big dog gets here, look out.
