The Email

On September 7, 2017, May Huang — Chief Administrative Officer of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics — emailed Epstein's assistant about sending new access keycards after the card reader system changed at 1 Brattle Square, Suite 6.

The response directed the new keycards to 9 East 71st Street, NY, NY 10021 — Epstein's Manhattan townhouse.

The Office

Martin Nowak's office at 1 Brattle Square was not just a meeting point — it was Epstein's de facto Harvard headquarters. He hosted elite dinners there, directed conference calls with George Church's lab members, and met with Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, Joscha Bach, Danny Hillis, and Nobel laureates.

The Nov 30, 2014 mega-dinner at Nowak's office brought together Jeffrey Epstein, George Church, Reid Hoffman, Joi Ito, Larry Summers (for his surprise 60th birthday), Danny Hillis, Joshua Cooper Ramo, and Joscha Bach. A dry erase board was requested. Sushi was catered from Yoki.

The Access

Epstein's keycard was not a visitor badge. It was a permanent access credential — issued, maintained, and proactively replaced by institutional staff for a registered sex offender.

As late as October 2018 — nine months before arrest — Epstein was still holding meetings at Nowak's office. Larry Summers met him there at 5:30pm. The scheduling chain shows Epstein's staff asking for directions from "Martin Nowak's office" to "Larry's home in Brookline."

A curated scientist list including George Church, Martin Nowak, Steve Pinker, Geoff Hinton, Eric Lander, and Danny Kahnemann
Conference calls where he was designated "LEADER" alongside Church's lab members
$2 million in Harvard donations directed from Leon Black through Nowak's institute
A personal genome sequenced at Church's lab, with cell lines created in 2013 that may still exist in a Harvard freezer
