New Credit Suisse boss has plenty of challenges in his in-tray

Tidjane Thiam described Credit Suisse as "an exceptional business" with "a solid strategy and strong momentum" when the Prudential chief executive was unveiled as the Swiss bank's new boss on Tuesday morning.
But once the 52-year-old takes over from Brady Dougan at Credit Suisse in June, he will face a string of challenges to reverse the relative underperformance of the bank in recent
