Eli send a full detail report in a few days. So far here is a brief description.
• The Ruckus AP that is setup to cover the southside of the island that is installed on the tower where the Dragonwave is not working.
• There was a network loop between the dragonwave and the netgear causing packet drops and unstable network. " Fixed
• Install two switches (Outside shelter. Gym) to be able to monitor both the Dragonwave and Ruckus bridge
• Took out the apple router that was working as DHCP and NAT.
• Brought the Cisco 2921 router online. Now this is the main DHCP and NAT router
• Installed the fiber cable and module for the ViNGN connection. This was installed in Port 5 on the fryer cable that goes to Vessum
• I re-enable the dragonwave management ports so I can verify the configuration
• I changed the password of both radios (the default password was configured Jermaine DI get you the new password so you can file them)
• I added some of basic monitoring. For the dragonwave (I would be able to add full monitoring until I reconfigure the units)
• I added monitoring to the cisco router and the switch in the shelter
We did some testing before we left with youtube and AppleTV and all were working without buffering.
The Dragonwave wit have to be taken offline once the ViNGN circuit goes online. The software on the unit is old and it has some bugs that wil cause issues once the units are up for about 1-2 months. The connection will drop until the unit is rebooted.
Another bug is this error.

When I left the office I asked Allan and I didn't see the cables. he will be looking into it.
Also just an FYI I logged in the dragonwave to gather some information and I noticed that both Ethernet ports (data and management) on the LSJ side are plugged in to the switch creating a network loop . What I did was shutdown the management port on outside. This will help some but will be fixed tomorrow. I would not be surprised that accessing the internal is smoother now due to

3 — it should, this way I can do a fill integration of the ViNGN. Dragonwave backup. test failover.
The plan that I would like to do:
• install ViNGN via the new router. Test it and switch the island over this new connection (primary)
• Once this is done I can takedown the Dragonwave connection to add some switches to be able to monitor the link and take over maintenance. Once this is complete
• Reconnect the Dragonwave as secondary link
• Test failover to Secondary (DW).
The above plan has a 1-2 min downtime.
If ViNGN is not ready I can still do the install but I need to install the switches needed to monitor the dragonwave there will be a downtime of a few hours as I do the swap but no testing will be done.

I cannot give you a date sense it's all based on the following:
? VINGN installs the cross connect
? whether we order the parts or LSJ order the parts. This was something that Omar was going to speak to (sorry I do not know the name) LSJ Finance.
o For VINGN connection (Router Module. Fiber Module. Fiber cable)
- o Choice connection (switches, fiber cables)
