I also noticed that Radar is the only one to report that info. Newspapers have a higher standard than online publications and bloggers etc. and newspapers, generally, have to confirm that the info is in fact true. However, we may be able to cite Radar as a source.... Believe me, I've been making umpteen calls trying to verify the info.

Will the US attys office talk to you? Because they obviously know. FBI on the Tannin and Cioffi (Bear Stearns) case knows. I doubt they will talk though. The people that are in the know are holding the info very close to the vest, as I am sure they are being told to do so. Can you contact Radar? Maybe they will reveal the source. The information about Epstein being "Major Investor Number 1" has been out for awhile. I want to say that was first leaked in November 2008. Following the timelines of the Bear Stearns case as stated in the indictment and the evolution of the sex charges that ultimately lead to the Non-Prosecution Agreement with Epstein is where I started, but it is a long, somewhat confusing and complicated, trail.

Don't the victims have to be notified before he can get out? Have you received anything from PBSO or US Atty's saying that he's getting out in the next week or so? Wouldn't they have to notify you and the other atty's?

The victims were not notified before the deal was reached (the NPA), not even conferred with about the possible deal; in fact the girls were intentionally left in the dark; they were not notified before he was out on work release, and No they will most likely not be notified before he is released. The whole thing has been very secretive from the very beginning, for reasons that are just now coming out.

I actually got ahold of Duane yesterday. He referred me to his supervisor, saying he could not talk to the media. Then I got his supervisor, Ken Johnson, who also told me that he couldn't talk to the media and that I had to call the Dept. of Corrections in Tallahassee. There I got a very helpful woman, Jo Ann Ratcliffe, who told me that the Dept. of Corrections doesn't have any records from his stint in jail. They begin their monitoring of him today. But she did send me court records, including a document that says he WILL NOT wear an ankle monitor. I wrote about that today....Apparently, the original court record was wrong and not wearing the monitor was part of his plea deal.
I will try to find out about the Virgin Islands thing.
My real problem is with the PBSO, which are holding all of his jail records, his work release stuff, etc. They are really stymying me getting the records that I want.... My next step is to go directly to Ric Bradshaw's office, since his underlings are NOT giving me the records that are public records.
Please let me know if you have any additional info or particularly any scoops.

I'm not sure if we can or can't get the info because it's not a governmental body and I don't think it has to provide those records to us....But I am going into a news meeting and will ask if there's a way we can persue this. Anyway, he said Epstein is not a member and would not confirm or deny that he ever was a member. He would not comment at all (which is very rare for him) on whether or not Epstein got booted from the club or if he had recruited girls from Mar-A-Lago.

Thank you. We have our answer then. All the pieces are public record - Complaint filed by Josephsberg regarding Epstein being at the club with Ghislaine Maxwell and taking a 15 year old home with him, a newspaper article that indicated he was banned for similar conduct (don't remember who published it but I read it a few months back), and a no comment from Trump. He's banned. Don't worry, we will get the official word. We are setting many depositions soon and certain people that will be set will know that information. I will keep you informed. Good work. I can verify that a State court Judge granted our Motion to Unseal the Non-Prosecution Agreement; however, Epstein filed an appeal and the appellate court has not issued an Order. So, for now, it is still a sealed document and not a matter of public record.

The dynamics of the two cases are so different, not factually but procedurally (meaning Epstein was already sentenced and Polanski was not).
