Amy:

Acknowledge receipt. As soon as we receive the JPA from DPNR the Corps will review and evaluate.

Thanks;

Please find the Great St. Jim, LLC maintenance request for their existing dock. CZM only requires a letter which has been submitted but we have requested a coastal consistency letter.

I am also sending a hard copy (to the correct address).

Amy:

If it requires a Corps permit they should still process the JPA and send it our way. Also, since the NW permits require CZM and/or WQC, depending the area work will be conducted, they should provide a letter informing the Corps that the proposed work does not need the CZM. If it is going to be a hassle don't submit and I will work the case next Monday. Only work on getting the CZM coastal consistency as it will be needed for the evaluation.

On a side note, while searching for the previous project permit and talking with Cedeno, I was able to find the original permit (enclosed).

Thanks;

JMS

CZM does not require an application or permit. I'll ask them to forward, I have asked them for coastal consistency. DPNR is not always helpful in this regard.

Should we get the permit transferred to the new owner of the island Great St. Jim, LLC?

Yes, but before we do that I'm trying to get additional information on another action that was conducted in 2005.

Next week we can talk about the project and how to go about it.

Mrs. Kellerhals:

After review of the submitted information for the above mentioned proposed project, the Corps is requesting additional information to fully evaluate the project. At this time the Corps is enclosing a request for additional information letter.

You are cautioned that work performed below the mean high waterline or ordinary high waterline in waters of the United States, or the discharge of dredged or fill material into adjacent wetlands, without a Department of the Army permit could subject you to enforcement action. Receipt of a U.S. Territory permit does not obviate the requirement for obtaining a Department of the Army permit for the work described above prior to commencing work.

If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.

Thanks;
