مدينة الحب ياريو ولا عجب
أن يكن الحب حيث الخير يغترف
فسهلها وروابيها وساكنها
يصحو على بسمة فيها ويلتحف
في كل يوم تريك الحسن في صور
فكالها متع واللون مختلف
كانها قطعة في الأرض ثنائية
قد أنزلوها من الفردوس وانصرفوا
فإن تكن محن الأيام قاتلة
ففيك صرت من الأيام أنتصف

فلا ترى العين إلا ما تسر به
من قصر سعد وسرب الحور يزدلف
حشد من النحل عند البحر منتشر
وكله عسل يجنى ويرتشف
وذات قد كأن الله قال لها
كوني الجمال فكانت فوق ما وصفوا
قالت : تحب ، فقلت الحب منتجعي
له أغني وفي مثواه أعتكف
فأقبلت تتثنى نشوة وبها
من نزعة الإثم شيء اسمه الظرف
عريانة الصدر لم تحفل بمندهش
يُخشى عليه من الإغماءة التلف

ألفت على الرمل جسماً كله فتنّ
تعازل الشمس حتى خلتها تفف
يا بحر يا بحر هذا عقد يابسة
فهل لديك شبيه مוהד الصندف
فإن بعدت فيها قالبي به حرق
أم تفارق طفلا دمعها نزف

And its no wonder that love resides where joy is abundant.
Your plains, your hills, your people

Each day you show them forms of beauty Full of pleasure in different flavors .
You are unique in this earth,
Like a fragment from paradise
Brought down and inadvertently left there.
Though the tribulations of life are fatal,
In you I found compensation from life For the eye sees nothing but what pleases,
From the Palace of Happiness to the approaching swarm of beautiful girls .
Ah! For a gracefully shaped girl
As though God ordained: Be beauty itself!
And she became beautiful beyond description.
She asked me: Are you in love?

For it I sing, and in it I seek refuge.
And she approached Me with a swinging walk with a sinful urge called pleasure
With a naked breast she walked Inconsiderate of a stunned man, almost fainting.
And she stretched on the sand a voluptuous body
Flirting with the sun
Until I thought it would not move
O sea! O sea!
This is the pearl of the land
Have you in the cradles of your shells a pearl to match?
And now that I am far from her
