Good morning. I'm working on a story in which I see you as the centerpiece of the non prosecution agreement handed down to Jeffrey E. Epstein in 2007.

In the matter of the Epstein case, your influence over your protege R. Alex Acosta to hand down a non prosecution agreement to a serial pedophile, seems hopelessly inconsistent with the morals you have stood for your entire career. Not to mention non prosecution agreements are in themselves a rarity according to several officials I have spoken to at DOJ.

I would like to understand why you would agree to be the architect of such an extraordinary Non Prosecution Agreement given your position as independent counsel and years later your comments concerning Baylor and the abuse of women, etc.

Sir, would you care to comment before this goes to print? Otherwise, I will report that you declined to comment and have not answered any of my previous inquiries.
