I am sure you saw this but in case you didn't...
DOJ WATCHDOG WON'T BITE ACOSTA: DOJ's top watchdog said Tuesday that it won't investigate a 2007 plea deal that Labor Secretary Alex Acosta cut with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein following a chorus of requests from both Republican and Democratic lawmakers, POLITICO's Matt Dixon reports. After Epstein cut his plea deal with then-U.S. attorney Acosta, he spent just 13 months in county jail, with daily furloughs to his office. In a letter sent Tuesday, Horowitz said his office lacked jurisdiction over the matter. More from Dixon here.
