learned some interesting things from David Haig (Harvard) about Watson

he did mature with time and kept up with evolutionary genetics

when David lectured at Cold Spring a good number of years ago JD was enthusiastic about his theory for the evolutionary dynamics of genomic imprinting—paternally active genes opposing maternally active ones, along lines of opposing es—and up-to-date on the phenomenon

he also sent me some links to his portrayal of Rosalind Franklin, ancient history now, and recent comments on race and IQ

a whole series of people were within inches of the double helix including

David agreed that Francis was the more theoretical mind and JD the brilliant young mind that aligned all the base pairs to give a true double-helix

he also agreed that Nowak and Sigmund are a parallel example, at a slightly lower level, Sigmund was the theoretical mind and a deep one at that but Nowak was the brilliant young mathematician who could prove the theories they advanced in the 1990's on tit-for-tat models and reciprocal altruism

BTW assume the best thing is to sit tight and right out the latest drops in the market, which i assume related to "bone cutter" in Saudi Arabia

did you know Jamaican Stock Market is "strongest" in the world—i fear this can be reversed overnight but as you know, i know nothing about money—and have a bank balance to prove it
