"We all thanked the volunteers and had a great time with them, but many forgot to thank the source... :) Thanks to You, Aleph and the volunteers we all were able to celebrate the Rosh Hashanah holiday in the best way possible, considering where we are. With the Torah reading and the Shofar, Thank G-d.

Thank You, and All of You in the Aleph institute for your dedication, care, help and hard work. We all and I'm sure everywhere else were you're involved are grateful and appreciate everything you all do. We are very proud and happy that there are people like all of you at Aleph that are there for all of us when we need you.

Aleph Holds Rosh Hashana Services at Fort
Jackson, SC

:,-‘scl.jpg Rabbis Levi and Mendy Golomb came to Columbia, SC to hold Rosh Hashanah services. They arrived Tuesday and met with the chaplain and confirmed all the arrangements were in place and on Thursday they walked to the Fort (blew shofar for a Jewish jogger they met on the way) and ran a 2 hour service for 50 soldiers complete with shofar-blowing and honey cake.They repeated the same thing on Friday for about 30 soldiers.

We heard very positive reports from the soldiers of their experiences.
