One thought. On June 13 we are hosting the Pritzker Architecture Prize ceremony in Amsterdam. We are doing it at the Rijksmuseum and it should be quite nice. If you are available please consider yourself invited and we could get together for lunch on June 13th or14th.

If that doesn't work, I am in and out of Europe and we could find another time. Certainly if your travels bring you to the US, please let me know.

I have asked them to work on the idea of the note. I have checked and had the confirmation her shares ( C shares with no voting rights , only dividends ) can only be sold to us or to other family members . If she wished to sell to anybody else it has to be accepted by the board and B . The other ppssibility : the cousins - they don t have the money and i doubt they would want to buy a minority share with no voting rights and no right to have a representative at the board . One possible solution : tellng her we re looking into it,ake her wait as long ad needed ...

it depends a great deal on her tax basis, in the property, the inheritance, etc. exchange new non voting in financial creatied entity for voting stock in non - . though she would like to make trouble I would assume she is also tired .

understood, i am going to fly to ny on monday to see henri, the girls could buy nadines interest with a note. that pays current interest. tax wise it would have to be structured properly. . nadine would in essence receive an income for the rest of her life.. the issues would be , a trustee for the girls holdings. it requires finesse. .

you can do both, offer her the girls deal and if she says no, politely suggest then that you will look into altemaiteves and wait wait wait I rather see the girls in effect buying both david and nadine . and get the past in the past, and move forward on great opportunities
