Strorm affected travels and schedule. Very unlikely I can get aware to see you on the island, but lets look for another option. Will be in NYC many days in Nov., as I've just cancelled virtually all air travel in November just to recoup some time. Jeffrey, the more that I see/more people I meet, the more I appreciate our time to share ideas. Where are all of the top thinkers of our age? Why do so many people of means/possibility sleep their way through life instead of taking huge chances and transforming the world? Perhaps we need a return of the "great man" narrative.
- I'll have a quick call to Eric Lander next week- any tips on areas where he might be persoanlly interested? I have heard from Martin that most of his time is taken by administration. I noticed the Carlos Slim is also supporting him, which suggests possibility to do bold things.

not again... it happens to lots of people when they become known for something- it becomes part of who they are and they live in the past. =lack of real confidence (?)
