HISTORY
On April 28. 2011, amfAR presented the Inspiration Gala in São Paulo, Brazil. the Foundation's first fundraising event held in South America. Claire Danes served as a chair of lhe gala, and she presented lhe Piaget Award of Inspiration to Calvin Klein Collection's Francisco Costa in recognifion of his extraordinary commitment to the fight against AIDS. The event was held at the home of Felipe Diniz and featured performances by Jennifer Hudson and Preta Gil. $750,000 was raised for AIDS research.
