Hope you're all keeping cool on this very hot week!
I wanted to email you all about Bunker and starting a gay night there....
I actually had a great conversation with Aaron this afternoon and we both agree that it's best to start the night after Labor day in mid September. Having a gay night now won't work, especially in basement space with no outdoors area.

He told me that Bunker is closed now on Sunday nights and we both agree that a Sunday night there would be a really strong move! I think we could have a kick off night the Sunday of Fashion week if possible and maybe involving a designer or a magazine (just a thought).
We also discussed different ideas to involve great DJ's and other promoters. I am familiar with lots of great DJ's and promoters so I'll start having the conversation with them and get their opinions.
What's your thoughts on that...? How do you guys feel about a Sunday night? If you'd like, we can have a conference call and discuss this together.
Even though we won't start till September, I think if we commit to doing a night, we should make the final decision and start developing an invite and digital posters. That way we can start spreading the word and start promoting it as soon as possible and create a hype around it.
Donna: what do you think of that? Let's have a conversation and I'll explain to you what I have in mind and what Aaron and I discussed.
Karin: it was great seeing you and chatting yesterday. I feel more confident about what we discussed.
Don't forget, please send me what you can regarding fashion week planning along with a sample email. I'll send a mass email to a lot of my fashion contacts regarding fashion week. Talk to Donna about what we discussed and let me know how we should move forward .
