Also, my quick google review indicates Martinez has enjoyed a very high approval rating (66%). She is first female governor in NM and first female hispanic governor in the nation. NM pop is nearly half hispanic. So yes, it seems that you are correct, an uphill battle for Gary.

I am committed to protecting New Mexico children from cyber predators through my Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, which is part of the ICAC Task Force —a multi-agency network of law enforcement personnel statewide whose mission is to locate, track, and capture Internet child sexual predators and Internet child pomographers. My prosecutors then take these predators and others to trial in a dedicated effort to take these criminals off the streets and put them in prison. As your next governor, I will work to strengthen New Mexico child-crime laws and redouble my efforts to protect our most vulnerable family members.
