Sure about?
...energy and information being the scientific bridge between matter and consciousness? Yes. Ultimately I think love, justice etc will also be seen as information when using a scientific lens.
...spirituality being old news? Comes down to definitions. I think spirituality today has become too much of an -ity. We don't have to reject it, but it needs to loosen up. I think a deft story of practicality today is more relevant than the popular form of the spirituality story.
Energy and information are human concepts
There is only experience and the knowing of experience in awareness

Agree. The importance of energy and information is not that it yields truth per se, but rather it provides a conceptual bridge between matter and consciousness, a few steps in between.
There is still a need in society to account for experience scientifically / philosophically, specifically in a way that converges multiplicity unto consciousness. For a mainstream mind, that has to start by acknowledging the apparent ubiquity of multiplicity, of

experiences. Energy and information too are ubiquitous in that frame of mind. That makes them powerful, capable concepts because all experience can converge in their experience.
It's like the mahavakya pragjnanam brahma - which helps the seeker consolidate all experience into a symbol of consciousness. Then the symbol is released. It eases and makes the scientific mind single-pointed.

Energy is the flux of consciousness - the apparent activity of consciousness. Information is the pattern of that activity. One doesn't manifest without the other. confidential between us three, here are my initial reactions:
"The Chopra Challenge : I love this, Very catchy ... Deepak, I think you are well positioned, actually, it puts you as the person who is interested in driving/spearheading new directions in understanding. It also helps you to signal that you are moving increasingly into this space of science, and providing a different kind of vision leadership. You could also reach out to people (especially hostiles) directly and publicly to invite them to offer their ideas (if they have any). This will help you in the future, down the road, etc. In any case, the opportunities in taking the lead outweigh the costs.... you would need a panel of scientific judges to come up with a top 10- that panel might be harder to build, but it should be possible.
Start by asking questions rather that trying to answer them - brilliant positioning, but importantly, allows positioning to ask questions in the right ways to move beyond where things are "stuck".
