I met Paula at the Carlyle for coffee yesterday- she is gorgous and smart and we laughed about the girls she told me all about her life, her music and her family and could not have more charming.

You have excellent taste in superior people...and beyond beautiful.

As you can see from the email below- we are having a meeting with the girls tomorrow...or trying.

We both shared our total devotion to you and our desire to bring a bit of joy into your life.

Will call you later. Running to beauty parlor. Have noon pick-up with Pepe Fanjul to drive up to Harriman to a casual lunch for 50 under a tent that Gigi and Avie Mortimer are having and a tow of Avie's grandfather's estate "Arden House" that he just restored and bought back from Columbia University.

Isn't it wonderful when three generations build a rail road and become Governor and the fourth drinks it away and low and behold the fifth post-war/yuppie kid gets lucky and makes it all back?

and I have a 3:00pm curtain for "West Side Story" on Broadway and 47th Street.

Possibly, we can meet at 1:30pm fora bit....if you girls want to have a quick lunch, we could meet at 1:00pm...
