Re: Saturday house hunting
Ballinger house contract revived.
Buyer: Richard Kurtz (NJ real estate developer).
Rumored price: $6 million.
Richard Kurtz previously bought two lakefront properties on Via Vizcaya for $7.1M and $7M in 2006.
He is suing his lawyers due to a zoning issue.
BTW, Please tell Jeffrey that the Ballinger house contract was revived after a difficult due diligence period. Buyer is Richard Kurtz, a NJ real estate developer who owns garden apt complexes). Rumor is that price is a low $6 million number. Kurtz bought Mickey van Gerbig's old house on Via Vizcaya (lakefront) for $7.1M and the lot next door (lakefront) for $7M in 2006 with the idea of building one house on the two and is now suing his lawyers because of a zoning issue that makes it difficult to do so. gosman called and asked me for him to take me to see clark and i said no, i had a broker already
I haven't identified you to anyone yet. I do not think its such a hot idea for it to get around that you are looking at Clark's house because it is around town that he will sell for a big number. I have heard rumors of up to $200M. That would be a story to the press.
Btw, it took 19 minutes from the time of the Picower 911 call for the story to make the internet. The PB Police department must have the Post on speed dial. I recommended that Barbara's lawyer (Zabel) call Jack Goldberger for advice on keeping the autopsy photos private.
