Forwarded message from Stephen Purvis to Sultan Bin Sulayem regarding visit plans and agenda for a delegation arrival.

Dear Sultan,

The various plans are being finalized around the new delegation arrival date of the 1st.

In advance of the main delegation arrival the following is the current agenda:

Mr Perera and myself will meet you at the airport in the VIP section on the 30th. Your visa will be waiting for you. After a very quick welcome we shall take you to the hotel Saratoga.

Presumably you will want to meet briefly with the team to get a up to date understanding of where we are in the negotiation. We have set aside a meeting room in the hotel for this purpose. That evening, Amado and I invite you to an informal dinner at a charming local restaurant, we suggest 8:30.

Next morning we have a meeting with Cabrisas, the senior vice president of Cuba at 10:00am, this will take about an hour. Luis Alberto has suggested a private meeting between you and him for 2:00pm to finalise the contract terms. Do you wish to go to the airport to meet the delegation in the afternoon?

That evening of the 1st you and Mohammed Sharaf (who arrives early evening) are invited to a private dinner with Luis Alberto.

It seems that they will transfer you to a protocol house on the 1st.

I trust that meet with your approval. The Cuban side and use have anticipated that Jack will probably arrive as well and so he is included in the foregoing arrangements.
