Yes, yes, and yes. They have limited experience investigating public corruption. LaVecchio and Schwartz are long-time organized crime prosecutors. LaVecchio helped prosecute Operation Courtbroom (corrupt Dade judges) back in the 80s when he was a state prosecutor. Kaplan has a strong tax and white collar background.
