Surprisingly — I was expected that he recently published much more on that subject. I expect that he has been facing a serious ethical board challenges.
I spent a lot of my time developing similar immune system chimeras — Mouse/human/pig in various combination — so I know challenges vey well.

Xenotransplantation is cool. Not only that it can answer many basic answers and provide unlimited pool of organs but also think about really important application — transplantation of the horse penis ;)
