mother continues her slow descent. is living at her mother's now to help her sister. Goes to work a half day most days, then to mom's. Hired a CNA to come in and help get her up, bathed, etc. in the mornings. I take out to dinner at a place where I know the owners well. They give us a table close to the door yet out of the way, and are very kind to . She enjoys it, but it is perhaps more important for . When her mother dies, I want her to know she did everything she could to make her mom happy until the end.

This leaves me a lot of free time, so I have been trying to work. I slowed down the practice when all this PNC stuff started so my income would be low, but it has dragged on so long I have had to gear back up. With the economy, it is not as easy of it once was, especially since many of my referral sources started going elsewhere because they thought I was too busy before. Things are picking up, however, and having this time alone is good for my efforts to restart everything. Never suspected it would go on this long, but so far it has been a good thing that it has.

Nothing is happening with National City/PNC. Trent filed a 2nd demand for production, but they have not provided anything. The burden to move this case along is with them, so I guess Trent is simply treading water while all this mortgage documentation fraud stuff shakes out. Meanwhile, I went back to my local PNC bank to again ask for records. The officer I had been dealing with is gone and the new one could not find anything on my request. She called a few days later to say the central office had no notice of my request for account records (it is still open, by the way), and that they would provide all account documents. Then, nothing. In short, little is happening with PNC.

More victims of Mike surface as time passes. Several have gone to PBSO and the state investor fraud dept. The deputy/dectective said he needs all victims to come forward. Apparently, no one case is enough to arrest Mike, but I suspect he is trying to get Mike on a organized scheme to defraud by establishing a pattern of deception. One woman I know from AA said she gave him 1.4 million and when she confronted him, he gave her some back. Susan said she is out $800,000.00, but she said she gave it to him when she was constantly relapsing, so she isn't going of the police. She also hinted that Mike did something illegal with her mother (from whom she got her money) with an investor fraud case, and she does not want it to come out. I am not going to talk with any officials unless they call me in, and I will only go with a lawyer.

How about you? Coming down to the wire on your 90 days. I assume you are still in Europe and will remain there until the coast is clear. I have gotten a couple of cases from Pike over at Burman, Critton..., but I can tell things are strained for Mark by the way he acts around me. I never did hear anything from them even when the cases were active, so it does not surprise me that they don't speak to me now. I assume there are no new cases because Jack probably would have told me. Are you getting a request ready for Crist to give you pardon? If he loses and Sink loses to Rick Scott, they may be open to it in the lame duck period. Crist is especially likely in that he would sell his soul for a federal appointment of some sort and he is beyond shame. Just my thoughts.
