RE: FW: Leon Black Plane financing
Leon is considering getting a new plane, and we would like ballpark estimates of what financing terms would look like. Assume it is a 2013 G550 costing $30MM. Can you help us?
Hi Barry,
Thanks for reaching out on this. Below are some very high level ranges for an G550 aircraft of that year and purchase price. Please keep in mind we would need to see a spec sheet on the aircraft before drilling down in more detail. I have provided two different term options for example purposes.
Term 60 months
Advance Rate: 90%
Balloon: $18MM-$14MM
Fixed Rate: 3.55% -3.65%
Payment: $220,000- $275,000
Floating Rate: 2.48% - 2.40%
Payment: $196,000-$260,000
Term 84 months
Advance Rate: 90%
Balloon: $15.5 - $10.5MM
Fixed Rate: 3.90% - 3.80%
Payment: $208,000- $260,000
Floating Rate: 2.55%-2.60%
Payment: $185,000 - $240,000
Additionally, I am not sure if your team has discussed leasing with CJ before, but we have a G550 available in our inventory that would may be a fit, but it is for Lease only. I have attached a lease quote for comparison purposes. This aircraft is an older vintage, but is on programs and there would be no residual risk. Let's plan to circle up with CJ next week when he returns to talk about some options.
Best Regards,
Megan

Current plane rate is about L+ 172 (but was higher in the first hear—like L+240). Original loan was 100% LTV. Art loan is L+125
Rates below reflect L+ 172-186.
Attached are specs on the leasing option. As you say, very old G550.
