Israel healthcare tech company. My Chinese friends from Fosun invested $4m for 8%. I can join same round (total $15m).
Company developed a pill that conducts an X-ray scan of the intestine. The advantage is that the patient doesn't need to clean his bowl (for example: using Given Imaging's pill the patient has to have a very unpleasant process) before the exam.
Proceeds of the round are in escrow until the IPO while investors get equity now (2% for every $1m invested). IPO on NASDAQ is planned (aiming $100m pre-money valuation). If there is no IPO by February 2015 the company will call the funds and the investors will get additional warrants.
