You need to have enough time on your O-1 before expiry to allow for the processing of the GC. You will apply for an EB-1 Extraordinary Alien GC. This is a very detailed process and similiar to what was done for the O-1. I filed my GC application form 1-140 and then waited for it to be approved before i filed my adjustment of status form I-485. The reason is that the filing of a I-485 indicates immigrant intent which conflicts with a non-immigrant visa such as a O-1. This means that if you have a filed I-485 you cannot leave the US until it is approved nor can you renew the non-immigrant visa. There is a way to deal with this and it is to file a form Advanced Parole and for Employment Authorization when you file the 1-485. This takes about 90 days for approval and will allow you to work and leave/enter the U

There are years of emails , telling you that I need /want you to be a partner, there are years of emails telling you that doing as I ask, leads to security, years of emails asking you to learn to cook, read books, etc, that will lead to security,, years of emails telling you that if you continue to nag me, not provide the things I need , as is obviously your choice , I beleived that you would ultimately find reality a difficult place. I jumped up and down, yelled , behaved irrationally as you continued to choose the wrong door. to no avail.-for years I respect your right to choose. and as I have said admire your determination/strength to do it your way, but it /was your way , not mine.
you did not tell me about the letter in the sink until after you had already left Paris, For hidden take outs to be effective, they must be put with either a third party or be acknowleded BEFORE the end of the game. Is it the only letter.?, are there others with different positions? , there is no proof that you would have told me even of its existence . more iimportantly, I do not need a TEST , I have stood by your side, taught you, hugged you, berated you, kissed you, supported you, even in the face of your deternination to follow your own path.

I didn't tell you sooner because I thought there was still a chance you would think back, remember and realize you really did make that deal and decide to honor it despite the fact it wasn't convenient anymore and I wanted to surprise you by letting it go so we could start fresh on on a positive note. The whole thing could have been positive and we both would have been happy with each other as we moved forward. But it didn't go as planned and you are right, I have no other proof.
