Re the flat - I will have to see it when I come - he should try and take pies otherwise it is impossible for me to tell. Re Tom I will send him something - too much money from me might make him independent just when he needs to be slavishly attentive. Leave Mums gift for me - I'll get it when I come to London - put the Euors somewhere safe until I come next time and recuperate them

Dear G - went to London on Tuesday and took the £5000 to your mother, collected the dish that was outstanding from Ogetti, collected the coffee pots outstanding from Divermenti, collected the napkin rings from Kelly Hoppen. Took your clothes to sell - they took about half the items and will keep them till February and then send them to a charity shop if they have not sold. Pickett do not have your handle for your suit carrier in yet and will call when available.

David Hall went to see Cadogan Gardens and was very very enthuastic about it • George went and saw it for you and said that it is a good flat but the views out of the back are horrid, it is £1.5 overpriced and having showed you round various properties is not convinced that you would go for it. I asked David to take pictures for you but apparently he was not allowed to as there is priceless art on the walls!! What do you want me to give Ray, Sybill and Iara for Christmas? Do you want me to get something for Tom or do you want to give him a cheque?
