If the painting had a width of 12 feet the height would be 12 feet 6 2/3 inches. While we could do this, shipping of such a large piece becomes extraordinarily expensive as the usual courier limit is around 10 feet for the tube we'd deliver it in.

How about the size 9 feet by 9 feet 5 inches? We could ship that and remain within the courier's limits. For the record, a painting with the size 9 feet by 9 feet 5 inches would actually be on canvas 9 feet 6 inches by 9 feet 11 inches, as we include a 3 inch blank border around the painting to help with framing.

Could you let me know what the painting is to be used for, and whether it is ultimately to be framed or mounted? Larger pieces we've done in the past have occasionally been attached directly to the wall (such as in churches...we did a piece 9 feet by 20 feet for a church in Chicago a few years back!). If I have a clearer idea of the intended use I may be able to make recommendations on the size of painting and canvas.

These are 100% oil painted, in the traditional way, with no printing. We can even send photos of the creative process, from blank canvas through to finished work of art. 9 feet by 9 feet 5 inches - $1999 12 feet wide by 12 feet 6 2/3 inches $3479. I will have to check the shipping costs on this but it may add $200 - $400 more (we normally cover shipping costs but can't if it is over the 9'6" limit - our courier couldn't handle it)

Thank you for your reply! This painting will be framed for use in a private residence. I will ask them if they would be willing to go a bit smaller on the painting as Pm not sure how large they will want the frame. In the meantime, could you please still give me a quote on both the 12 IL size and the 9 ft. size? I understand shipping will be quite a bit on the 12 ft., but if you could give me a price for shipping as well so my client can make the ultimate decision, that would be great! Also, I'm just confirming that these paintings are actually painted and not printed on canvas?

Hi Sarah,

We haven't done this particular painting since 2005 and I no longer have images on file. I do have lots of photos of other work we've done though, and I have attached a few of them so you can see the quality you can expect. I have also included some process photos so you can get an idea of how they are made.

Please note that our clients have included museums, interior designers, galleries and over 10,000 individual art lovers. Our art work can be found in various hotels and restaurants, and even in the Venetian Hotel and Casino (Canaletto paintings of Venice, naturally enough...l).
