Re: Russian business visas
I've asked my employer what he prefers to do since we will be leaving for Paris around January 18th and going to Moscow from Paris. He is asking if it would be possible to finish processing the business visa at the embassy in Paris? I'm not sure if that would be possible if we are not French citizens?

Hi
I just got a message from our Moscow office that due to the holidays the earliest the visa can be done is January 28. Will that work for you? Otherwise, we can do a regular tourist visa first and then proceed with the multiple one.

Thank you. I will let him know the options. How long does it take to get a double entry 3 month business visa?

The general rule is that US citizens should apply in the USA. If they apply in other countries, everything will depend on the Consulate and how they will see it. There is definitely no guarantee you will be able to get your visas there.
Do you need to travel to Russia on those dates you specified or it can be moved?
You have several options:
Do a multiple-entry and move your trip to Russia.
Do a tourist visa for now and get your multiple-entry once you are back from your first trip to Russia for your future trips there.
Do a double-entry 3-month business visas.
Please advise.
If you want, we can discuss the situation over the phone.
Thank you.

We would like to apply for a tourist visa good from Jan.25-Feb. 25th. How long does this take to process? I can bring in whatever you need on Monday the 3rd.
We will then proceed with the business visas after we return with our upcoming trip to Europe and Russia.
What do you require for the tourist visa?

Is there any way to do the tourist visa in one day? In the past, I've dropped off my passport and gotten it back with the visa in the same day..

It takes 3 business days. But the Consulate will be closed Jan 1-10. It will reopen on the 11th. I will be out of the office Jan 10-14 but there will be Jamilia who can take care of you. OR if you want, you can bring me the paperwork Jan 17 and your visas will be ready Jan 20.
I will need from each of you:
Valid US passport (make sure there is at least 1 blank visa page in it)
1 passport-size picture
1 application form (http://www.russia-travel.com/userfiles/file/ank4us.pdf)
$320 per visa.
If you want I can proceed with getting your business visas since it takes 2 weeks to get an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. OR if your next trip to Russia won't be in the near future, we can wait till you come back from Europe and start the process then.
Thank you.
Happy Holidays!

Hi
The quickest official turnaround time with the Russian Consulate is 3 business days. We can do it sooner using our personal connections.
The charge will be as follows if you decide to do that:
Same-day service $1000.
Next-day service $600.
2-day service $500
3-day (regular) service $320.
Let me know your decision.
Thank you.

HI Anastasia,
We will now be going to Russia some time in February, so we will just proceed with the year long business visas starting in February. Is it still possible to have this processed by the end of January? Best,
Hi Anastasia,
I'm not positive if we will be in NY that day..if we are, I will bring everything to you. If we aren't, is it OK to bring you the passports a few days after that date?
Can you please send me the application which we need to fill out? Many thanks,
Hi
I left you a messgae on your cell phone regarding your visa to Russia. We can submit your passports to Russian Consulate on January 27, 2011. Will you be able to send us all neccessary documents with your original passports by then ?

Hi
I was out of the office last week. Jamilia was in contact with you regarding your visa. Yes, you can bring me the paperwork any day that is good for you. The only thing is that it takes 3 business days to process your visas. Say, if you bring me the paperwork on Friday, Jan 28, the visas will be ready on Wednesday, February 2, etc.
You can FedEx me the paperwork as an option.
Thank you.
Have a great day!

Hello Anastasia,
You helped me and my employer, Jeffrey Epstein, obtain business visas to Russia last year. They will be expiring at the end of this month and we wish to apply for new business visas. Can you please help with this? Do we need to apply again for an invitation letter first, etc? I'd like to get the process started as soon as possible. Please let me know what you need and how to proceed. Best regards,
Hi
Thank you for your request. I will be happy to help you again. If you still have the same passports (see attached) and the work information - Financial Trust Company - did not change, then I will only need from you the date you want your visas to start and the cities in Russia you are planning to visit.
Yes, the process is the same: we obtain the invitation first and then we apply for your visas with the Russian Consulate.
The price is $610/per visa for the 5-week processing or $910 - for the 3-week one.
Please kindly advise which time frame works best for you.

Great! All of our passport info and work information is the same as before. We would like the visas to start on March 20, and we would be visiting Moscow and St.Petersburg. We would like to pay for the 3-week processing time. What is the best way to get payment to you?
Best,

Good morning! I just wanted to check in to see when you think you will be needing our passports for the visa? I'm going to be traveling quite a bit the rest of the month and just trying to work out if I should leave our passports in NY for someone to drop off to you once you're ready for them. I know we still have a bit of time, but wanted to check in nonetheless. thank you!
Hi
Your invitations will be ready February 24. This is the first day we can apply for your visas. In order to do that, I will need to get your passports, 2 passport-size photos each and 2 application forms each.
The form is done on-line now. Here is the link HTTP://EVISA.KDMID.RU. The most important thing about the application is that you provide me with the ol gin and password that you will receive once you register on the website to fill out the forms.
In order to fill out the form, you will need the following information (the information is the same for both of you):
Invitation
Inviting organization: Permanent Representative Office of the Sverdlovsk Region Governor under the RF President. Location - Moscow.
EFTA00534307
Date of entry: March 20, 2012
Date of departure: March 18, 2013
Itinerary: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk
Type of visa: business/multiple
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Have a great day!
Anastasia, are you also able to help with obtaining Kazakhstan and Belarus visas?
Yes, [ ] we can do those as well.
Great! We are planning on going to those places in May, but we need to get several other visas as well so I'm starting the process. What is the process/time frames for Belarus and Kazakhstan?
Hi
The processing time for Belarus is 1 to 2 weeks. The processing time for Kazakhstan is 4-5 business days.
Hi Anastasia. I'm out of town right now and just wanted to check how long you will need our passports once I'm back to complete the Business visa process. If I get the passports to you on March 11th, what day can I get them back?
Thank you
