Oh my! It does say not to park on crystal! I loved that spot! I did see the people who live in the house by where I parked put a saw horse in their drive way. Please what is the big deal. I'm not going to block their drive or park in their drive. I loved our spot and thought it was great to bolt out of! People park by my house all the time and I don't even know what for. We were there 45 minutes tops. The school needs more parking. I do wonder if we could get a ticket. Hmmm wouldn't be worth that, but I don't think the police can unless a sign is posted no parking... And there is not!

This is not a chart. It is a notice from South Elementary South regarding parking for school events. Key information includes:

Location: South Elementary South, 8 Farm Road, New Canaan, Connecticut 06840
Purpose: Reminder of parking procedures and policies due to increased traffic for school events.
Parking Rules:
Park only in lined spaces in parking lots.
Handicap parking requires an appropriate placard.
Do not park in areas marked with yellow paint (FIRE ZONES).
Do not park in crosswalks or block sidewalks.
Do not park on the grass.

• DO NOT PARK in areas cordoned off by cones.

Overflow parking is:

• Allowed on the south (school) side of Gower Road, between Southwood Drive and the school parking lot. DO NOT PARK between the school parking lot and South Ave.

• Allowed on north (school) side of Farm Road between the school entrance and Old Stamford Rd. DO NOT PARK between the South Ave.and the school parking entrance.

• Allowed at the high school in a limited number of spaces, depending on events being held there.

DO NOT PARK on Grace Street or Crystal Street.

*For safety reasons, cars that are parked in any of the restricted areas described above or do not follow state and local laws are subject to ticketing and/or towing by the New Canaan Police Department.
