We really look forward to his attendance for the Symposium event at MIT.

The Oct 28th dinner could be last-minute decision on his part, he will always be welcome. Of course love to know as early as possible. It should be a very stimulating evening. [ ] I will get the venue for the dinner to you as soon as it is decided. The dinnerwill likely be at a private home in Camrbridge/Brookline.

We are delighted that Jeffrey will be joining the Oct 29 Symposium on improvising classical music inspired by Marvin Minsky, "Reconstructing Beethoven's Improvisations". We will be gathering on the lower level of building el5, 20 Ames Street Cambridge MA. Registration is from 10 - Ilam on the day of the event, Wednesday October 29. The day goes through 8:30 pm, with lunch and dinner included!

We also hope that he may make it to the presenter/advisors dinner on Oct 28.

Margaret ...will you be video taping the event?

We will definitely be taping the sessions that take place on stage.theater, about half the day is small-group workshops where a lot of exciting stuff and actual improvisation (at three pianos and a historical fortepiano) will be happening, and that will probably not get as good video coverage by its very nature, although there will be some for that time.

It's experiential, and we are doing our very best to document it as well!

The Symposium day was very exciting, and it was terrific to have Joscha Bach with us. Please thank Jeffrey for arranging to have him join the group.

We'll be editing video from the various sources that we shot during the Symposium, and well have ways to watch it (web, and U sure that we can also make a DVD). In fact, tomorrow we are having our administrative follow-up meeting and the dominant thing on the agenda are decisions about how to edit, budget for the editing, and so forth. Our overall plan is to have good video ready within a month!

Before that, I am sure that we will have some highlights (or at least the parts that are easier to edit), as well as still photos, ready.
