Hi Martin. Jeffrey would like to have the dinner in your office at 8pm on Sun. Nov. 30th. The attendees will be:
Jeffrey
Martin

Joi Ito
Reid Hoffman
Larry Summers
George Church
You will be able to arrange the dinner and a dry erase board?

I am positive Jeffrey will bring one if not two or more assistants with him...just not sure who it will be as of yet...as the date approaches we will figure out..

will some of jeffrey's assistants be here too?
(to let the guests into the building etc.)
good question...who usually handles the food? Jeffrey will pay for it of course...let me ask him what he wishes to do...Could you suggest places that cater? Perhaps I can send him menus so he can have a look...

May! We need to have a birthday cake as well!! It is Larry Summers 60th birthday :) (shhhhh to be a surprise!!) Jeffrey says he wants to make the dinner fun! Not stuffy...relaxed atmosphere...

i recall that he's vegan and also has some allergies.
quick question:
does Jeffrey want full service catering (fancy plated dinner)
or buffet/casual or ?
Hi May...so Jeffrey let Joi decide where he would like to have the food catered from..Joi has chosen Yoki! I have asked Joi to look over the menu and provide me with his favorites keeping in mind we need to order for 6 people...Considering it is your favorite sushi place also, perhaps you can provide some items you think should not be missed!

hi [ ]
i called around and these 3 restaurants (menu links below) can deliver for 8pm Sunday Nov 30th.
my favorite sushi place in cambridge: http://y•kirestaurant.corn/Menus.html for platters select sushi, rolls, sashimi from menu and/or chefs choice. for George they can prepare a separate plate without animal products (eggs, milk, cheese) and rice is gluten free and they have both regular and gluten free soy sauce.
Martin's favorite gourmet pizza and salad:
http://thejustcrustcom/catering/specialty-pizzas/
for George they can make separate pizza with gluten free flour and salads without animal products.
Oggi can deliver burgers
http://www.oggigourmet.com/menu.html
but i worry about grilled food
arriving cold/soggy.
I'm still waiting to hear back from
EFTA00359405
this regional Italian restaurant in boston
because they are supposed to have great
Parmigiana di Polio (Chicken Parmigiana)
http://casarazdora.corn/catering-menu/
this bakery near the institute has interesting cakes http://www.finaledesserts.com/bakery/menu.php in addition to the round cakes (largest 10 inch serves 12-16) we can order larger rectangular sheet cakes with more traditional options like white or chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. in case the cake can't be delivered could Jeffrey's assistant(s) walk 0.1 mile to pick it up? https://goo.gl/mapsIT93E9
perfect!!! thank you!

their sashimi Is really fresh. large thick slices. with bowls of rice on the side. (but i think many people prefer nigiri over sashimi.) from the sushi a la carte page i usually get tuna, yellowtail, salmon, mackerel. all of the raw maki rolls are good. when i called the restaurant they said they can put everything on large platters. the seaweed salad Is also good. yaldtori (appetizer page) is good - bbq chicken on skewers.
