Yes, the ticket IS to arrive at Newark. My blunder.
I was so focused on was it OK to depart to JFK that I missed this point.
Fare is favorable but it's another half hour.
I'll try to change, or we will get a car.

Ok another thought (and we have done this in the past). Take a cab to city from Newark and we can did dinner and spend night at one of Jeffrey's apartments. It appears I will be in city anyway if Jeffrey is here. Y'all could then go on to our house Friday at your convenience via train or wait for me to get off work at 5pm and take train with me. Ash you could come too and stay in an apt with me ...and if you can get off work Friday you could help home earlier. Ty will have a football game either sat or sun. Right now it's Sunday at noon but may change to sat at 1:30.

Peter will want to be included -- and our kids (I guess can be okay for a night here alone. ... and get themselves on the bus on Friday! -- they are pretty well grown up and responsible and still need parents! but can manage for a night and a morning!)

Les, Peter doesn't have to go -- I don't want to use up all Jeffrey's generosity! We can make it just a daughter/ parent night if that is best -- really... . I like to have a presence at night with the kids (of course), so it is okay.
