Is something going on in West Palm Beach on Wednesday? I'm having a little trouble finding a room at Govt. Per Diem.

Not that I know of. The Marriott is right down the street from our office.

No rooms available at the govt. rate. The closets Marriott at the govt./ rate is 17 miles away in Jupiter. The Hilton also does not have a government rate. Nor does the Hampton. I'm going to see if I can get permission to pay market rate, but I won't know until Monday. Either way, I'm still coming, I may just have to rent a car and drive from Jupiter.

Thank you! I'm going to try back at the Marriott near the USAO on Monday, but if nothing comes through, I would appreciate the lift. (They couldn't specify that any event is going on, so I think that they are just holding rooms.) I'll catch a cab to the USAO directly from the airport on Monday, since my flight doesn't land until 11:45.
