Victim letter
I can't believe that all of those lawyers can stay quiet for so long.
Thanks.

This is what happens when you don't send out the letters when they are supposed to go out. A. Marie Villafaña Assistant U.S. Attorney 500 S. Australian Ave. Suite 400 West Palm Beach, FL 33401 Phone 561 209-1047 Fax 561 820-8777
Hi Andy — I am sure you received this already, but thought I should send, just in case.
Is there going to be a meeting? If so, do you know when it will occur? He is saying what "we want to keep the agreement, so long as we get rid of all the stuff we don't like."
Thanks.

I have attached the revised letter. It went from 7 pages down to 4 and has been softened. If you want to cut more, please let me know which topics I should remove. I also have the revised Victim Notification letter ready to go.
Thank you.

Marie,
Three items to address:
FBI was present for the meeting with Ken Starr(the Federalist speech). ASAC Parlave and Junior attended the Sept 7, 2007 meeting.
The Victim/Witness letters - I'm am still holding many of the original Ii 1N letters addressed to victims from the USAO. The letter that Is currently being revised needs to take into account that several victims have never been notified by your office or mine. (first sentence of draft does not apply). FYI(I only reference this because this letter seems to be a hot issue for the Def.) Which by the way, contrary to the Defense, I do not feel they should have anything to do with the drafting or the issuing of this letter. My primary concern is that we meet our federal obligations to the victims in accordance with federal law.
We were last informed that Sloman's letter went out as well as Acosta's letter. This now appears not to be the case. If his letter was not received by Defense, we are unable to find a reference to December 7 and/or 14 deadlines. It was Acosta's original letter to Starr that mentioned the deadlines and Sloman's follow up letter to Lefkowitz that reiterated them. Just FYI.
It is all a bit confusing, but know we are willing to help if you need something from our end. Thank-you for keeping us in the loop. We'll let you know if we hear anything from LANA.
Nesbitt and Jason
We can't hold them to these deadlines if we don't give adequate notice. Any chance I can send the revised letter out?
