My name is Simone Lelchuk (married last name is Melnick, but professionally I use my maiden name "Lelchuk"). My business website is www.simonelelchuk.com. I am a mediator and a settlement fund administrator. I work in different sectors, but primarily I work in the mass tort world, with a speciality in working with people who are victim-survivors of sexual assault and / or abuse. Sine 2021, I have been involved with the women who were abused / assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein. In 2023 I was appointed by Judge Jed Rakoff (Southern District of NY) to be the claims administrator of the settlements that came out of the class actions brought against the two banks that Epstein banks with - JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank. The very large sums of money that came out of those settlements were turned over to me and I was responsible for allocating them to the women who were involved. Judge Rakoff oversaw the entire process. Not surprisingly, a select few of the women involved were not happy with the allocations the received as part of this process. One woman - -- has sent me countless threatening emails, hateful posts on social media, etc. Some of her threats have been so bad that I alerted both my local police station (Bedford, NY in Westchester County) and also the head security ughter's school. I understand that two of the lawyers involved have also been threatened by and have also made complaints (Brad Edwards and Brittany Henderson from the Edwards Henderson Law Firm in Fort Laurderdale, FL). All of this has been brought to the attention of Judge Rakoff and we will be seeking further advice and action from him. I can provide any number of emails and screenshots if that would be helpful.
