Ghislaine Maxwell has been placed in quarantine at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York after a jail staffer tested positive for coronavirus. Maxwell tested negative for COVID-19 on a rapid test and will remain in quarantine for 14 days, with re-testing to follow.

Bloomberg (11/23, Burnson, Hurtado, 4.73M) reports US prosecutors said Monday that Ghislaine Maxwell "has been placed in quarantine after a staff member of the jail where she is being held tested positive for the coronavirus." In a letter to the judge handling Maxwell's criminal case, prosecutors said a rapid test found her to be free of COVID-19. Maxwell "will remain in quarantine for 14 days - and will then be re-tested - at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York."
NY MAC Penza advised this was most likely a separate matter from the Epstein/Maxwell investigation, but with Maxwell in the news, it occurs to me we haven't sent any update on the case in a bit. Can you touch base with the team and see if any latest developments in the case are worthy of an update?

This is separate from our investigation. The US VI is conducting an investigation separate from ours.
As for an update on our current case, there is nothing major to report. Over the past couple months, we've been working to meet discovery obligations. Meanwhile victim/witness interviews continue to be conducted. Maxwell's attorneys will be proposing a bail package in the near future, which we anticipate will have a lot of litigation.
