This is a case regarding a young girl, who was brutal) sexually assaulted, murdered, and dismembered in August 2016. Initial information indicated that her mother friend and friend all participated in the homicide. Further initial information included that had been drugged with methamphetamine and might have been prostituted or been a victim of child pornography by her mother.

and were all arrested by Albuquerque Police Department on a variety of charges. FBI opened a child pornography investigation and has provided significant assistance to APD throughout the investigation.

Just learned that will plead guilty this afternoon to Child Abuse Resulting in Death and will be released from custody. Investigation determined that facilitated her daughter's death by creating the situation. However, neither nor were present when the homicide and other crimes occurred. Forensics found a DNA sample that excluded . APD will also announce that a John Doe has been indicted as the source of the DNA.

[ ] will remain in custody. APD has obtained authority to bug her cell because they expect she will explode when she hears about [ ] and [ ] and will likely make incriminating statement. [ ] is expected to be sentenced to 12 - 15 years.
