Hey Sean,
I spoke with one of the AUSAs who relayed that Prince Andrew's counsel was issuing a public statement in response to the MLAT. SDNY has plans to issue a statement in response; there are drafts being made currently. As far as plans to interview him, there has been conversation between SDNY and his counsel but nothing presently in the works.
As far as the ongoing investigation into Maxwell, when we are able to have a grand jury, we plan on getting a six count indictment. As of right now, charges are as follows:
Counts are:
18 USC 371(conspiracy to entice)
18 USC 2422 (enticement)
18 USC 371(conspiracy to transport minors)
18 USC 2423(a) (transportation)
18 USC 1623 (perjury)
18 USC 1623 (perjury)
We presently have a mail cover on the address we believe Maxwell to be staying and are waiting on results. We also renewed the Pen for Maxwell's phone. As we get closer, we hope to do some surveillance of the location as well.
