RE: Epstein-related files
Hi Brianna,
I hope you are doing well. We spoke about a year ago regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case, and I am reaching back out now to request assistance in the discovery process for my office's related prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell. Would your office be willing to share with us a copy of its files relating to your prior investigation and prosecution of Epstein? I'm happy to have a call to discuss further, and please let me know if there is someone else in your office I should speak with regarding this request. I can be reached any time on my cellphone at Thank you very much for your help. Best,

Please note: Honda has a very broad public records law. Most written communications to or from state officials regarding state business are public records available to the public and media upon request. Your email communications may therefore be subject to public disclosure.
Hi
Yes, I remember speaking last year. I hope you are doing well. Is a copy of discovery what you are looking for? For us that means all the police reports, statements, pictures, etc... collected as part of the investigation. If it easier to discuss over the phone my cell number is Brianna Coakley
Office of the State Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit Special Victims Unit—Division Chief Human Trafficking and ICAC
Thanks so much. I’ll give you a call to discuss this afternoon.

Hi Brianna,
Thank you so much for helping us get a copy of your office's files regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case. I've reviewed all of the files, and I noticed that two categories of items are not included. First, there do not appear to be any transcripts of grand jury proceedings. Second, there do not appear to be official, signed copies of the affidavit for a search warrant and warrant to search Epstein's residence. When we spoke a few weeks ago, you indicated that there might be a separate process required to obtain those materials. Would you please let me know what steps we should take to track those down?
Thanks,

Our office is not in possession of a transcript of the grand jury proceeding. As for the signed search warrant I will follow up to see if it was filed with the clerk of courts.
Thanks very much, Brianna. Appreciate you looking into the warrant materials.
For the grand jury proceedings, how can we go about getting copies? Is there a different office I should reach out to?
I have reached out to my supervisor for more information on the grand jury proceeding. I'm honestly not sure who can get copies and under what circumstances.
