We can put something together - do you have a sense of timing/deadline?

Also, for requests made directly to us, we have been looping in OLA which typically wants to be involved and has pretty strong guidance on what, if anything, we should say. I don't know if that's appropriate here given that the request was made directly to OAG, but just wanted to flag.

I think they would like a draft response sometime today. I don't think it's necessary to loop in OLA, but I would draft our response conservatively in accord with their past guidance. Geoff

You guys have thoughts on this? As knows, OLA's general guidance is either not to respond at all, or to respond [ ] by parroting back a combination of the question and stuff already in the public record. Here's my initial effort at mapping that guidance onto this question:

As the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York stated yesterday, the investigation into the conduct charged in the Indictment previously filed against Epstein — which included a conspiracy count — remains ongoing, and any evidence or potential testimony relating to that investigation will be handled by the Department accordingly.

I think that's right. There's not much to say - and your proposed response essentially parrots what is in the public record (with the addition of we will handle evidence accordingly, which seems harmless).
