RE: Epstein
On a totally unrelated matter, would you be able to connect me with your colleagues who are working on the Epstein investigation?
I've received an inquiry from the Paris prosecutor's office about Epstein's potential connections to France, and I am trying to figure out if we would be in a position to share anything with the French that could advance their investigation.
Thanks in advance if you have any thoughts.

Would anyone have time to talk on Tuesday at 10:30 am Eastern?
Hi,
Just to update you on my interactions with the French on this, I am scheduled to have a call today with the Paris prosecutor's office to discuss the confidentiality of any information we are able to share with them. Once I get a sense of what level of confidentiality they can afford any information we share, I hope to come back to you to discuss the mechanics of sharing information with the French.
This is an email thread.

The sender is discussing interactions with the French regarding the confidentiality of shared information and an upcoming call with the Paris prosecutor's office.
I'm available at 10:30am on Tuesday and happy to chat then. Want to call my desk at
Thanks,
I had a follow up call with the Paris prosecutor's office about their Epstein investigation.
In terms of confidentiality, they explained that information we share would stay confidential. This would be the case until a criminal defendant is placed under examination, at which point that person would have access to the investigative file; but they are not at that stage yet. She added that the press could not have access to the investigative file at this time. I am waiting on a written follow up from them on this point.
They are preparing to execute search warrants, possible as early as next week, and don't want to interfere with the US case. Though, I imagine they may obtain some information that could be helpful for your case as well.
In the meantime, with the investigation ramping up here, I think it could be productive to put you in touch. Is that something you would be open to? Perhaps a call to start?

Hi
I think it would be helpful for us to have a call with you first before we have direct contact with the Paris prosecutor's office. Are there some times this week that would work for you for a call with us?
Thanks,
