Subject: D Conference Coverage: May 27-29
Hello,
The
sixth edition of The Wall Street Journal's D: All Things Digital executive
conference is fast approaching! While the May 27 to 29 event has
already reached sold out status, we wanted to update you on the coverage that
will be available on our AllThingsD.com
site because there are a number of ways that you
can experience some of the D6
action online.
First,
you may have noticed that the
AllThingsD.com homepage has a new look. We redesigned the page to provide
more news and headlines, updated throughout the day. A combined blog section in
the center column integrates posts from Kara Swisher and John Paczkowski.
The most recent columns by Walt Mossberg are also available at the top
right of the page. A new feature, "Tech Around the Web," showcases
feeds from popular sites like GigaOm, TechMeme, Digg and paidContent.
Throughout
the D6
conference, we'll be live blogging and posting photos and video of the sessions
in our video section.
Be sure to stop by and check it out. It's the next best thing to being there in
person!
Also,
as a special feature this year, you
can submit a text or video question for any of the D6 speakers right on
the AllThingsD.com site. It's your chance to
ask whatever you like of speakers like Microsoft chairman Bill Gates,
Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin, Activision CEO Robert
Zotick and Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. And, if your question
is selected, executive producers Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher will
ask it live on stage
during D6. The deadline is this Friday, May 23rd, and
submission details and instructions are online at: http://allthingsd.com/d/ask-a-question/.
In
addition to the luminaries mentioned above, we've added new speakers to the D6 lineup in the
last few weeks, including Jerry Yang and Sue Decker of Yahoo,
Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook and Rupert Murdoch of News Corporation. The full
speaker list is available at: http://allthingsd.com/d/speakers/.
Best,
D6 Conference Team
