Subject: FUND CLOSING - Bear Stearns Emerging
Markets Macro Fund

Thank you for your support of the Bear Stearns
Emerging Markets Macro
Fund (the "Fund"). In the coming weeks, we will be
sending out a formal
letter outlining the Fund's intention to stop
accepting any new or
additional investments in the Fund until further
notice. We anticipate
that the timing of this closing will occur after
February 1st
subscriptions and no later than March 1st
subscriptions. We would like
to offer our EXISTING investors an opportunity to
add to their
positions. Please let me know your proposed
capacity needs for month
end (2/1/06) and potentially beyond and I will work
to get those
addressed with the portfolio management team.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or
requests you may
have.

Regards,

Evan Kerr
