FW: Letter for JE

Dear Lesley,

At long last, that "tax letter" for your accountants is attached, but it is more than that -

I read the newspapers early this morning - coverage re: Palm Beach - so I'm (sorta) glad it took me this long to get around to it (three grant applications worth!)

May I ask you to ensure Jeffrey sees /hears the last paragraph of the letter?

Please remind him that boys from The Bronx (even if they end up at Harvard) have long memories, know all about cops, and stay true to their friends through thick and thin (no less peccadilloes).

Please let me know if you'd like me to fax a properly signed hard copy (I have the fax # you sent) and if you need any additional identifying info for The Institute.
